Lab-diamonds FAQ

How Are They Made?

Lab-grown diamonds are created through two methods:

HPHT (High Pressure and High Temperature)

A tiny diamond seed is placed into carbon, exposed to intense heat and pressure, and gradually grows into a larger diamond.

CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition)

A diamond seed is placed in a vacuum chamber filled with carbon-rich gas. The carbon attaches to the seed, growing the diamond one layer at a time.

Both methods produce a real diamond with the same beauty and brilliance.

Are They Real Diamonds?

Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are certified by major gem labs, just like mined diamonds. They match natural diamonds in hardness, sparkle, and durability, and they score a 10 on the Mohs hardness scale because they are made of the same pure carbon crystal structure.
