BTS with Nicky Hilton and Kathy Hilton: A Mother's Day Shoot with Theo Grace

We just wrapped up our Mother's Day shoot for Theo Grace, and it was such a great day on set. Having our co-founder Nicky Hilton and her mother, Kathy Hilton, join us really brought the whole project to life.

We wanted to capture the genuine dynamic between the two of them, rather than just staging a traditional portrait session. When you get them in a room together, the energy is immediate. They have such a natural rapport, which made our jobs behind the camera incredibly easy. We focused on keeping things relaxed, letting them move and talk naturally, which allowed us to get those authentic, candid shots we were looking for.

The vibe on set was perfect for showcasing our new Made to Treasure collection. We specifically designed these pieces to feel like heirlooms that fit into a modern wardrobe. Watching Nicky and Kathy style the jewelry was actually really insightful. Nicky gravitated toward the more layered, delicate pieces, while Kathy opted for some of our bolder, more classic statement items. It was a great reminder of how these designs are meant to be worn by different generations while still feeling cohesive.

The Made to Treasure collection is all about pieces that have a bit of weight and history to them. We focused on solid metals, lockets, and classic motifs that are meant to last. Seeing the pieces on them made it clear that jewelry is often at its best when it has a story attached to it, whether it’s a gift from a mother to a daughter or a piece you pick out for yourself to mark a milestone.

It was a productive day, but more importantly, it was a fun one. We’re really happy with how these images turned out and we think they perfectly capture the spirit of the new collection.
