Care & Clean:
Tarnishing is a natural reaction of sterling silver. To prevent tarnishing, we recommend you store your silver jewelry in an airtight box and to remove when engaging in showering, exercising, or washing your hands.
Regular wear of Theo Grace sterling silver jewelry can also prevent tarnishing. The oils in your skin can actually help prevent the chemical reaction that causes tarnish.
To clean your sterling silver pieces, mix mild soap with warm water to clean. Rinse in cool water and gently rub with a soft cloth until dry.
Stainless Steel
Unlike other metals, stainless steel is hypoallergenic, making it safe for sensitive skin. It is highly resistant to rust, tarnish, and corrosion, which is why it is a popular choice for long-lasting jewelry that retains its shine over time. Its naturally lustrous finish ensures your jewelry stays sleek and polished for longer.
Care & Clean:
To clean stainless steel jewelry, gently rub it with a soft cloth dampened with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft, non-abrasive cloth.
Avoid exposing stainless steel jewelry to harsh chemicals, including bleach and chlorine, to preserve its natural sheen.
We recommend storing your stainless-steel pieces separately from other jewelry to prevent scratches.
Gold PVD Stainless Steel
Gold PVD stainless steel combines the strength and hypoallergenic properties of stainless steel with a luxurious gold finish. PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) is a high-tech coating process that bonds a gold layer onto the stainless-steel base, resulting in a durable and tarnish-resistant finish that resembles solid gold. This process ensures the gold color lasts significantly longer than traditional plating, giving you a lasting, low-maintenance jewelry option.
Care & Clean:
To care for gold PVD stainless steel, clean gently with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth, avoiding any abrasive scrubbing that might dull the finish.
Avoid contact with harsh chemicals and remove your jewelry before applying perfumes, lotions, or creams.
Store your gold PVD jewelry separately to avoid scratches and try to keep it in a soft pouch or lined jewelry box for added protection.
